Paratroop Mascots Make First Jumps
Reveille for the Army's youngest mascots, a litter of Boxer pups just a few weeks old. They're mother was a champion parachute jumper with the Army before she was killed by a motorcar. Now, paratroops of the 1st Airborne Brigade are adopting her youngsters to bring them up to be parachutists too. A warm pocket in a trouser leg is the safest most comfortable spot. The little fellows don't know where they're going but they're on their way. Here, they go aboard a troop carrier for their first jump. And down they float to earth with never a whimper. Real parachutists say the paratroopers. The highest flying pups in the Army.
