The war in Europe has ended.

Brandenburg Gate - German: Brandenburger Tor still stands, but most of Berlin is in ruins. Famous Adlon Hotel stands. In southern Germany Allied Troops move to complete occupation of the country. The Eagles Nest, Hitler’s mountain retreat. Much of Munich lies in ruins.

Commander-in-Chief of the Luftwaffe Herman Goering is captured - interviewed by Allied reporters. Also captured were Field Marshal Albert Kesselring, Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt, Chief Jurist of Occupied Poland Hans Frank, Field Marshal von Klass, Regent Of Occupied Hungary Admiral Miklos Horthy, Arthur Seyss-Inquart, traitor of Austria.

Lt. General Erich Brandenberger of the German 19th Army signs surrender documents in Innsbruck, Austria, American General E.H. Brooks ratifies another victory. German Admiral Karl Donitz surrenders his U-Boat fleet.
