Sky is filled with parachute canopies as paratroopers jump out of planes and float down to earth. Gliders are released, some gliders crash. Troops land and move out.

The Rhine River barrier is smashed. Tanks and troops drive toward Berlin. Captured German prisoners POW's are ferried across the river to the Allied rear area. Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery cross the Rhine and are shown with General Dwight D. Eisenhower.
