Operation Market Garden. Gliders are loaded in England. Paratroops board the gliders which are towed into the air. Armada of gliders, transports, and fighter planes fly over Belgian towns; paratroops jump, parachutes fill the sky in Operation Market Garden. Gliders land near Arnhem, Holland. Gun positions are established and mortars and machine guns fired.
Young German boys captured. Prisoners march to the rear; infantry run into Arnhem; wounded are evacuated; armor moves forward; shows Dutch underground soldiers and dead Germans. British infantry climb a rocky hill and walk past a wrecked bridge in Luxembourg. Shows rubble of destroyed buildings. and a railroad yard. A motor convoy enters the town. Prince Felix is cheered by civilians; Nazi flags are burned.
