President Ronald Reagan makes the following statement in reference to the East and West relations: "as I said before, we do not mistrust each other because we are armed, we are armed because we mistrust each other". This is an excerpt from President Reagan's "Tear Down This Wall" speech at the Berlin wall June 12, 1987.
