This historical 1939 film documents a bygone era when Berlin, New Hampshire (NH) was home to one of the premier ski jumps in America. The historic Nansen Ski Club Jump (Berlin Ski Jump) was built by the NYA (National Youth Administration) in 1936 and was the largest structural steel ski jump in the world with scenes of the Snow Train with arriving skiers, preparations for opening day, skiers showing off their tricks, skiers making jumps from the ski jump, Miss Mildred Ellis crowned Queen of Winter and more.
