German Submarine Threat Ends
With the downfall of Germany, members of the German Undersea Fleet rise to the surface and on radio instructions from Berlin, procede to surrender to Allied naval authorities.
The German submarine U-858 rides into Cape May, New Jersey in the custody of a destroyer escort 'prize crew'.
At Portsmouth, New Hampshire, a destroyer escorts convoy the German submarine U-805 into the harbor. The Nazi crew is brought ashore still surly and impudent and are quickly whisked off to Portsmouth Naval Prison.
Back in the ruined port of Bremen, Germany, British soldiers discover pre-fabricated sections of submarines, parts of an assembly plan which was calculated to add hundreds of new subs to the German Navy.
