B-29 Superfortress Bombers Pound Japan
Aircraft factories near Nagasaki, Japan are bombed by the B-29 Superfortress from the island of Guam. From Saipan, a fleet of B-29's pierce the clouds of flak over Tokyo, Japan to plant tons of bombs on the Japanese capitol city. Homeward, many of the Superfortresses detour to the island of Iwo Jima to make emergency landings and where flak damage to the giant planes is seen to be severe.
