Berlin Wall Sealed Once Again To The West
The Berlin Wall is sealed once more as the 17-day pass agreement ends. Westerners say their last goodbyes to East German relatives before returning to West Berlin. During the period nearly a million and a quarter passes were issued to West Berlin residents. Not surprisingly, there wasn’t one who decided to defect to Communist side.
