Vietnam War - Air And Ground Combat
U.S. jets blast the port of Cam Pha in North Vietnam with heavy damage inflicted. Scenes of long-range howitzers in the Central Highlands bombard VietCong positions while soldiers of 4th Infantry Division are flown in by helicopter. U.S. 4th Infantry soldiers move through the Central Highland jungle blasting VietCong tunnels.
Largest Ship Ever Built In Europe Is Launched
The largest ship ever built in Europe, the oil tanker “Myrina”, is launched in Belfast, Ireland. Momentarily aground because of tricky winds, she's freed almost immediately. She measures 1,050 feet long, 191,000 tons!
