Thousands of tons of sorely needed fuel in coal cars go to bottom when steamship George Washington rams sea-going freight yard off large industrial center in Long Island City, New York. Gondolas were overturned and their contents lost, but the great passenger craft is able to proceed for repairs under her own power.
