President Kasavubu of the Congo is hailed by throngs in Leopoldville on his return from a conference of Congolese leaders in Madagascar, at which it was decided to convert the Congo into a confederation of states. In a rare glimpse behind the Bamboo Curtain, scenes show a gargantuan rally in Peking, staged to continue the Red Propaganda campaign protesting the death of Patrice Lumumba.
