Pacific Charter and Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty was signed in Manilla, Philippines on September 8, 1954 by the United States, Britain, France, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand and Pakistan. This historic Southeast Asia defense pact pledged members in a democratic front against Red aggression.
