51 Perish In British Train Wreck
51 persons are killed and 111 injured in the wreck of a 12-car passenger train outside London. The injured and dead were removed in five hours of rescue work. An inquiry will examine theories that broken or settled track caused Britain's worst rail disaster in ten years.
