The Berlin Crisis Continues
The Reds in East Berlin moves to drop Command Post and cut ties to Allies. The Russians announce that they are abolishing the post of Commandant. West Berlin police deploy barbwire barricades at a West-East crossing to control angry crowds of West Berliners that gather daily to harass Soviet Troops after East German Guards shot an 18-year old boy trying to flee to West Berlin.
