Corporate bonds thought worthless after the stock market crash of 1929 was displayed on the walls of the Union League Club of Chicago. In 1936 it was learned some of these corporate bonds could be turned into cash so off the wall came these bonds. CU of man “clipping” bond coupons with scissors (coupon clipping).
