Meuse-Argonne Offensive
Unedited footage of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, also called Battle of the Argonne Forest, was one of the final American Expeditionary Force AEF offensives that stretched along the entire Western Front during WWI. It was fought from September 26, 1918, until the Armistice November 11, 1918. This proved to be the greatest American battle of World War I

The objective of the Meuse-Argonne Offensive by American Expeditionary Force AEF was the capture of the southern line railroad hub at Sedan France, part of a rail network supporting the German Army. Trucks and troops move along a road. Troops wait in trenches for zero hour. Field artillery guns are loaded and fired. Railway gun or railroad gun is fired. Shows machine gun firing. Troops advance through open country under German artillery fire. A Renault F-17 light tank advancing and firing tank gun. A Bofors 37 mm anti-tank gun, called 37's, used against machine guns.
