Ernst Rosenberg continues his historical summary of the NSDAP (Nazi Party), recalling move to Berlin in 1933 after fourteen years of struggle in Munich and Bavaria. Adolph Hitler And Nazi Party Receives Plenary Powers Of Legislation 1933
On March 24, 1933 (actually March 23). The Enabling Act was a 1933 constitutional amendment that played a critical role in the rise of Adolf Hitler to become the dictator and Führer of Nazi Germany.
The formal name of the Enabling Act was Gesetz zur Behebung der Not von Volk und Reich ( "Law to Remedy the Distress of People and Reich".)
Hitler declares in the Reichstag "the economy exists not for capital, but capital serves the economy and the economy the people" to loud cheers.
