Synopsis: This film dramatizes the real-life story and wartime heroics of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, which was a regimental size fighting unit composed almost entirely of Nisei (second-generation Americans born of Japanese parents) soldiers who volunteered to fight in World War II even though their families were subject to internment.
