Engineers Blast River For Big Inch Oil Pipeline
Construction of the Big Inch oil pipeline from the Midwest to eastern points in the United States with engineers forced to cross many rivers. In this scene the Big Inch has another waterway to hurdle so they plant tons of dynamite and in a large explosion of water and mud blast a bed for the pipe beneath the river’s bottom.
