At the Grant Memorial dedication in Washington D.C. In 1922, President Calvin Coolidge reviews a huge military parade including Cadets from West Point, Midshipmen from Annapolis, Army, Navy, Marines and Civil War Veterans. President Coolidge attends the dedication of a statue to Major- General George C. Meade, a noted Army Officer during the Civil War. The statue was erected as a gift from the State of Pennsylvania and dedicated October 19, 1927.
