The Kellogg-Briand Pact for the renunciation of war proclaimed to the world in Washington D.C. on July 24, 1929. Diplomats from forty-five nations at the White House to hear the proclamation of a new peace covenant. President Hoover comes into the East Room, accompanied by his aids to greet the Diplomats as the arrive. Each arrival is announced by Colonel Campbell Hodges and the first is Calvin Coolidge. One by one the representatives of the original 45-nations that signed the Kellogg-Briand Pact are greeted by President Hoover as they arrive.
