In London, 4000 demonstrators organized by the Campaign For Nuclear Disarmament, scuffles with police in a protest of British support for U.S. action in the Vietnam war. Shows anti-American protest demonstration at Madrid University. The student protestors at Madrid University burn an American flag. Shows burning of American flag. In Belle Isle Park Detroit Michigan over 4000 people stage an "Anti-Hate Rally". These "Love-Ins" or Hippie peacenik gatherings are focused on meditation, love, music, and psychedelic drugs. It was the "Summer of Love" for the Hippie movement.
