Nazis Strike: Reel-1
Explains Hitler's plan for world domination. Germany was a nation whose aggressive ambitions began in 1863 with Otto von Bismark and continued with Hitler and the rise of the Nazi Party. Led by Genghis Khan a mighty horde of fierce horsemen conquered most of the world of the 13th century. Adolf Hitler was determined to conquer all of the world of the 20th century. In Munich Hitler set up an institute devoted to geopolitics headed by Karl Haushofer. In terms of geopolitics there is only two elements, labor and raw material.
Control the land and you control the world. Nazi rally in Nuremberg Stadium. Nazi agents and subversive Nazi organizations inspired riots in Belgium and France. Nazi rally in Madison Square Garden. Included is footage of Joachim von Ribbentrop and Fritz Kuhn, the self-styled "American Fuhrer" and leader of the German-American Bund (Federation).

German industry and manpower is mobilized with protesters not receiving food, send to labor camp, or executed by firing squad. Training of military officers and paratroopers. Military personnel uses the goose-step military march. Shows the invasion of the Rhineland and construction and manning of the Siegfried Line. The world leaders were amazed a modern army controlled by Hitler suddenly appeared.

On March 12, 1938 the Germany Army marched into and occupies Austria. Shows Hitler riding (standing) in an open car in Vienna. Hitler next threatened to invade Czechoslovakia unless Britain supported Germany's plans to takeover the Sudetenland. Shows the Skoda Works munitions plant. Hitler gives threatening speech. Desperate to avoid war and anxious to avoid an alliance with Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Union Neville Chamberlain of Britain and Edouard Daladier of France agreed that Germany could have the Sudetenland. In return, Hitler promised not to make any further territorial demands in Europe.
On September 29, 1938 Adolf Hitler, Neville Chamberlain, Edouard Daladier and Benito Mussolini signed the Munich Agreement which transferred the Sudetenland to Germany. The Munich Agreement was greeted by riots in Czechoslovakia, but cheers by the French people. Chamberlain returned to London where he gave his "Peace in our time" speech while waving a copy of the Munich Agreement and telling the English people Germany and Great Britain would never go to war. History proved The Munich agreement to be the quintessential example of appeasement because Hitler soon violated the terms of the agreement. On March 14, 1934 the German Army invaded Czechoslovakia.

Newspaper Headlines "Russo-Germany Pact Signed". Russian-German pact known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, or Nazi-Soviet Pact, or Hitler-Stalin Pact, or German-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact was signed August 24, 1939. Shows Molotov being greeted by Ribbentrop and the two being seated at a table. The Evening News stated World Shock Over German Pact. Stalin and Molotov view marching Russian troops. Polish campaign begins with Hitler demanding Danzig and a Polish corridor or else.
Shows German Army tanks, trucks, and infantry on Polish Border. Shows comparative German and Polish military strength. German invades Poland. The German Luftwaffe destroys the Polish Air Force in the air and on the ground. German dive bombers attack trains and rail yards.

Animated map shows the changing German and Polish positions that allowed the German Army to reach and encircle Warsaw. Street fighting in Warsaw. stopped the Germans so the city was pounded with giant German 240 MM howitzers. Shows loading and firing of giant German guns. German troops enter Warsaw. Polish prisoners are marched off to Nazi labor camps, other machined gun to death. Shows bodies of dead Polish soldiers and civilians, some with their hands tied behind their back. Shows Hitler in a plane viewing the destruction of Warsaw.
Russia invades and captured East Poland. British planes bombing German ships in the Kiel Canal. Great Britain declares war on Germany. Winston Churchill speaks to the nation.
