Animated map shows the main German attack on France would be through the Ardennes Forest by-passing the French Maginot defense line. The largest striking force the World had ever seen that included 45,000 armored vehicles; as the Allied forces raced to meet the German forces in Belgium the Germans attacked France through Ardennes Forest. German Engineer Battalions clear the pathways through the Ardennes Forest for the German tanks to follow.

Reaching the Meuse River the Germans blasted the French positions with German JU 87 “Stuka” dive bombers, tank guns, and artillery until German Shock Troops were able to cross the River and secure a crossing point while German Engineers built bridges for the tanks to cross.
