President Harry S. Truman arrives in a rainstorm to see the Army’s latest guns, tanks and other weapons hitherto on the secret list. New light tank is among items on list shown to Mr. Truman.
ARMY RELEASES BOY SOLDIER FROM SERVICE
13-year-old George Raymundo falsified his birth certificate to get in the Army, but now he’s on his way home again. His mother traced him to Aberdeen and the Army let him go, reluctantly.

Britain’s twin-jet Canberra bomber, which set a new mark flying East to West across the Atlantic, arrives at Andrews Field, where Air Force officials will examine it for possible U.S. construction.

OPERATION TO RESCUE TO SPANISH TOWNS SNOW BOUND FOR 50 DAYS
Two Spanish towns are relieved after being snow-bound for 50 days. For six days and nights, a truck convoy pushes its way through towering drifts to reach the beleaguered towns. Food is brought to the half starved residents.
NEW ENVOY ARRIVES TO SPAIN
After a lapse of several years, Stanton Griffis receives a royal welcome from the citizens and officials of Madrid as he arrives to present his credentials to Generalissimo Francisco Franco.
SUB KILLER
It takes sub to catch a sub. The navy launches its K-One, specially designed to search out and destroy enemy submarines. It has all the latest developments in electronic detection equipment.

The newest in aircraft escape devices is graphically demonstrated to trainees. Each airman is shot aloft on a one hundred ten foot tower being catapulted by a thirty-seven millimeter shell. This is to teach him the newest methods of escape from a disabled aircraft.

The Phils national League champs in nineteen fifty swing into action at Clearwater Florida. A new hopeful, Tom Casagrande who signed for forty thousand dollars is on the roster. The Whiz Kids are on their way to make it two in a row, while the World Champion Yankees start their workout under boss man Casey Stengel at Phoenix Arizona.

NEWLY FORMED JAPANESE POLICE TRAIN HARD
The newly formed national police reserves undergo rigorous training on the island of Hokkaido. In deep snows they undergo forced marches to bring them to a peak of physical fitness.
OLYMPIC SKI HOPEFULS
Big Mountain tests the skill of America’s best, both in slalom and down-hill races. The course plunges 2,500 feet down almost perpendicularly. Fifty men and twenty women took part in a thrilling exhibition held during a blinding snowstorm.
