CUBA DEMANDS TRACTORS IN EXCHANGE FOR BAY OF PIG PRISONERS
The announcement of Castro's ransom demands; 500 tractors for the return of 1,200 prisoners captured in the ill-starred invasion is made at the Havana Agricultural Fair where samples of Russian bloc tractors that were never delivered are displayed. Meanwhile 10 of the prisoners arrive in the U.S. to represent fellow prisoners in negotiating with a private committee that will attempt to raise funds to purchase the tractors.
NEW KOREAN CABINET ANNOUNCED
General Chang Do Young, the youthful Korean military leader, who ousted Premier John Chang holds his first press conference and installs his new cabinet; 14 military men.
STUDENTS RIOT IN TOKYO AGAINST GOVERNMENT
The Korean revolt had hardly been completed when students in Tokyo riot against the new regime. They also demand the withdrawal of U. S. forces from Korea and want it to unite with the Red North.

Vice President Lyndon Johnson addresses the graduates from the Military Academy at West Point. He exhorts them to battle for human rights, as they all become Second Lieutenants. At Annapolis, graduating Midshipmen are addressed by an old Navy man; President John F. Kennedy. He tells the 784 new Ensigns that he rose from his naval rank to Commander in Chief by skirting a Navy rule to stay away from politics.

Colorful pomp for a royal wedding. Scots, Irish and Coldstream Guards take part in, 'Trooping the Colors' for Queen Elizabeth on her 'official birthday'. She was 35 in April, but celebrates her natal day in June and all of the centuries-old color and tradition of the Monarch's birthday celebration is vividly caught by the cameras.

President Kennedy arrives back in Washington after a weekend of rest at Palm Beach, using crutches. An old injury was aggravated in May, but now his Press Secretary says he is improving. Later he meets with Premier Fanfani of Italy.

More than 1,500 separate rally’s throughout West Germany mark the 8th Anniversary of the anti-Communist uprising in East Germany. With Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev renewing his threat to recognize the East German government, the free Germans put on a show of unity that sees 100,000 mass before City Hall.
BRITISH MILITARY EXERCISE IS AN IMPRESSIVE SHOW OF COMBAT POWER
In the largest military maneuvers since the end of the war, units of the British Navy, Army and Air Force take part in Operation 'Saucy Sue' in an impressive show of combat power.

PRIME MINISTER HAYATO IKEDA OF JAPAN VISITS WASHINGTON
Prime Minister Hayato Ikeda of Japan found himself caught up in a whirlwind of activity upon his arrival in Washington to confer with President John F. Kennedy and other U.S. officials. He was honored at a reception given by Eric Johnston; had luncheon with the President and former President Dwight D. Eisenhower and then sailed the Potomac with President Kennedy aboard his yacht.
NATO CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is 10 years old and a parade marks a successful decade of maintaining peace in Europe against the Red menace.
POPE JOHN XXIII WELCOMES CHURCH LEADERS
The first Ecumenical Council since 1869 is convening in Rome in an effort to unite the Eastern and Greek Orthodox Churches with the Roman Church.
CHINESE RACE DRAGON BOATS
