NEW YORK The most famous sisters in the world, the five Dionnes, now sixteen, visit the Big Town to lend their support to the Al Smith Memorial Fund. They make a big hit when they sing "Sidewalks Of New York."

In the course of their advance, they round up thousands of North Korean prisoners and flush out one pocket of resistance after another. It's a race against time to save the lives of American prisoners still in Red Korean hands.

REDS PERIL INDO CHINA
Late news films from the trouble zones of Indo China, gravely threatened by rebel Red forces armed by Chinese communists. Supplies and men go aboard transport planes to be dropped into critical areas along the northern frontier, where French garrisons have been overrun.

PRINCESS ANNE CHRISTENED
LONDON Princess Anne, two-month-old daughter of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip, is christened in a royal ceremony at Buckingham Palace, attended by members of the royal family. The Prince flew up from Malta to take part in the christening.

DISARMAMENT IS THEME OF UN'S 5TH BIRTHDAY
NEW YORK The fifth anniversary of the United Nations is the signal for an international celebration at UN headquarters. Pres. Truman is the keynote speaker at special ceremonies commemorating the event, and Mr. Truman reiterates this nation's stand that war is not inevitable. The big powers have undertaken new efforts to limit armaments and keep the peace.

FURY OF ATOM BLAST AT ENIWETOK REVEALED IN FILMS JUST RELEASED
IN THE PACIFIC Just released pictures of "Operation Sandstone" at Eniwetok! Spectacular scenes of atom bomb tests conducted back in 1948 give dramatic emphasis to new talks on disarmament. The military and scientists conducted these tests that gave U. S. new lead in atomic research.

REDS ON RUN IN KOREA
KOREA Hit by the full force of United Nations forces striking northward toward the Manchuri-an border, North Korean communists are on the run. Paratroops are dropped behind the lines, as General MacArthur sees victory soon. But the price of victory is high. Many thousands of American boys have given their lives to keep Korea free.

KOREA Combat cameramen who have filmed under fire the advance of United Nations forces in Korea are decorated for bravery. Three Defense Department cameramen, one officer and two non-coms, are honored by General Almond.

KING OPENS REBUILT "COMMONS"
LONDON Parliament's history begins a new chapter with the opening of the rebuilt Commons Chamber by King George. The original was destroyed by the Luftwaffe. Scenes of royal pomp and ceremony in a colorful setting.

TRUMAN ESCAPES ASSASSINATION
PUERTO RICAN REBELS FOILED IN ATTACK AT BLAIR HOUSE
WASHINGTON The nation and the world are shocked by the assassination attempt on Pres. Truman's life at Blair House. Two Puerto Rican revolutionists fight it out with three guards, with one rebel slain and one police guard paying with his life. The attempt is tied up with the abortive revolution in Puerto Rico. Minutes after the shooting, Mr. Truman leaves Blair House to take part in ceremony at Arlington honoring the late Sir John Dill, British Field Marshal.

Latest news films from Korea, where the sudden influx of Chinese communist forces poses a grave threat to United Nations troops fighting to liberate all Korea. Gen. MacArthur has termed the Chinese communist infiltration an act of lawless aggression. Allied forces, going ashore at Wonsan, race to reinforce the UN lines under heavy attack. Behind the lines, reconstruction of war-ravaged Korea is undertaken.
