More than 100,000 United Nations troops are withdrawn, along with thousands of vehicles and tons of equipment. But the joy over this success is tempered by the death of the 8th Army's dynamic General Walker, killed in a Jeep accident. HOLY YEAR ENDS VATICAN CITY With the closing of the famous door at St. Peter's by Pope Pius XII. Holy Year comes to an end. His Holiness officiates as gold bricks are used to seal off the opening, through which hundreds of thousands of pilgrims passed during the Jubilee celebration. SPORTS HOLLYWOOD ICE REVUE CHICAGO With Sonja Henie again in a star-ring role, the 1951 Ice Revue bows in at the Chicago Stadium. PRO FOOTBALL PLAY-OFFS CLEVELAND Cold weather, hard ground and rough going for gridders as the Los Angeles Rams and the Cleveland Browns fight it out for National League pro honors. Trailing 28-20 in the final period, the Browns stage a dramatic finish to win by two points. Lou Groza's last-minute field goal turns the tide.
